Construction of renewable energy infrastructure: geothermal, solar thermal, solar photovoltaic, wind, biomass. Construction and engineering challenges and related issues and drivers for performance, cost, and environmental impact. Context of renewable energy infrastructure development including comparison of the types of renewable energy, key economic, environmental, and social contextual factors, applicability of a type of renewable energy given a context, related barriers and opportunities.
