Jean Yoon

Jean Yoon is a Health Economist in the VA Health Economics Resource Center and investigator at the Center for Health Care Evaluation.  Her main research interests involve care for chronic diseases, cost-effectiveness, and socioeconomic and racial disparities in health.  Her research has looked at the costs of chronic disease care in the VA and the relationship between adherence to prescription drugs and cost-sharing.  She previously worked at UCSF and the Health Resources and Services Administration studying access to primary care and the safety net.  She received her Ph.D. in health services from UCLA.
