    Fall 2012 Highlights in Giving


    SPILKERS NAME SCIENCE & ENGINEERING BUILDING: A $28 million gift from the GPS pioneer, School of Engineering alumnus, and consulting professor, and his wife, a real estate broker and investor, will name The James and Anna Marie Spilker Engineering and Applied Sciences Building in the Science and Engineering Quad and endow a professorship in engineering.

    CAMPAIGN FOR STANFORD MEDICINE LAUNCHED: In May, Stanford launched the $1 billion Campaign for Stanford Medicine. Among early supporters, three fundamental partners made gifts of $50 million each: Anne, MLA '07, and Robert Bass, MBA '74; Tashia and John Morgridge, MBA '57;  and the Redlich family.
