Overview
The Turkish Coalition of America (TCA) awards up to 100 scholarships per year for American minority students. These scholarships are awarded to eligible undergraduate and graduate level students who have been accepted to a university in Turkey, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), or Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Award
Scholarships range from $500 to $2,000 per student to study at a Turkish, TRNC, or Bosnia and Herzegovina university:
Eligibility
Applicants must be U.S. citizens of African-American, Hispanic/Latino, or Native American ethnic origin, pursuing undergraduate or graduate studies. Additionally, applicants are required to be enrolled full-time at a U.S. university, in good academic standing. Applicant must be accepted to a study abroad program or language program at a university in Turkey, TRNC, or Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Application
The application process involves a completed application form, applicant photograph, documentation of acceptance into eligible study abroad program or university, resume, and official transcript.
