Electric Service Information Sheet

 

The Utilities High Volt Department is responsible for providing temporary power for construction sites, as well as permanent electrical service to new buildings and/or existing buildings being renovated with an increased electrical demand.

It is imperative that the Project Architect/Engineer/Contractor with design/ build responsibilities completes and submits the asterisked items as indicated in the Electric Service and Generator Application. Completed Applications can be submitted to the designated Utilities Rep in the Project Kickoff Meeting, or emailed to the System Manager.

The information on this sheet shall be updated accordingly in the design/ development phase of the project and shall be finalized prior to the first Design Review submittal.

Street Light Service Application

 

The Utilities High Volt Department is also responsible for the maintenance and operation of the majority of parking lot lights and walkway/path lights on campus.

It is imperative that the Project Architect/Engineer/Contractor with design/build responsibilities completes and submits the asterisked items as indicated in the Street Lights Service Application. Completed applications can be submitted to the designated Utilities Rep in the Project Kickoff Meeting, or emailed to the High Voltage Operational System Supervisor.

The information on this sheet shall be updated accordingly in the design/development phase of the project and shall be finalized prior to the first Design Review submittal.

Emergency Generator Application

 

When specifying new emergency generators or changing out existing ones, complete the online Emergency Generator Application form and save it (see form 1st tab, Generator Pre-Submittal). This is necessary to ensure that the generator is properly accounted for in University emergency planning.
