Future of Media 029

The Terman Library librarians offer workshops on advanced searching techniques available in Scopus, Web of Science, Google Scholar, xSearch and SearchWorks, bibliographic management tools including Mendeley, Refworks, EndNote and Zotero, research sources for standards, patents and material science.  Workshops are held in the Huang Center. All students, faculty, and staff are welcome to attend.  If the session you want is not being offered this term, or if you want to suggest a workshop that we can add, please email us at engreference@stanford.edu

Google Scholar offers great resources for researchers, this workshop will focus on Google Scholar and other tools for finding research articles, patents, technical conferences including Web of Science, Scopus, and Stanford's multi-site search tool, xSearch.  Learn how to use Scopus, Web of Science, xSearch and Google Scholar to search smarter and faster.

RefWorks software indexes and organizes all of your citations. Your RefWorks account stays “live” as long as Stanford Libraries continue to subscribe to the product, even after you graduate.
