HighWire passes COUNTER audit with flying colors



STANFORD, CA - 21 February 2013

HighWire Press, the ePublishing platform of choice for prestigious scholarly publishers, is pleased to report their usage reporting system's compliance to Release 3 of the COUNTER Code of Practice for Journal and Book Reports.

iCompli, a service of BPA Worldwide, an independent, COUNTER-approved auditor, has examined HighWire's recording and reporting process, and has found them to meet the strict COUNTER quality guidelines for credibility, consistency, and compatibility, as found on their website at The audit concluded that HighWire-hosted publications presented fair and accurate reporting for: Journal article Reports 1, 1a, and 2; Book Reports 2 and 6; and Consortium Report 1.
