When: Wednesday, July 17, 2-3:30
Where: IC Classroom

Most of us have come to realize that most of our undergrads (and some grad students and faculty) default to Google Scholar and Google for their academic research. Do our subscription databases offer added value, or is Google "good enough?"

How does your favorite database stack up against Google Scholar or the new Microsoft Academic Search? Come to next Wednesday's Ref Forum and try your hand at "stumping the popular free databases."

Helen Josephine will brief us on the new Google Scholar features and Microsoft's new Academic search engine. Come prepared to "Stump the Google," or try out your competing databases in real time at the Ref Forum Workshop.

Come to the IC classroom Wednesday, July 17, 2-3:30 prepared for a lively discussion!
