Stanford IT Services announced a new tool to secure your wireless connection. Just like there is a push to encrypt all hard drives, encrypting data in transit is just as important. Many users on campus have been using Eduroam wireless network to obtain a secure wireless connection to the network, but will now have a new option from which to choose.

"Stanford Secure" provides WPA2-Enterprise encryption, which incorporates AES algorithim. More simply: this is one of the strongest encryption methods being used today. Stanford Secure is available to anyone with a fully-sponsored SUNetID.
