"Not all typewriters are created equal – especially when languages are not alphabetical. Imagine that." wrote Clifton Parker of The Dish. The East Asia Library exhibit, "The Chinese Typewriter: The Design and Science of East Asian Information Technology" had its opening ceremony, which included lectures by Jidong Yang (EAL) and Thomas S. Mullaney (History), last Wednesday, January 20.
The opening of the exhibit was well attended and lent itself to plenty of media coverage. See some of the media highlights below.
