Arcadia Falcone joins SUL as Metadata Coordinator

Arcadia Falcone

It gives me great pleasure to announce the arrival of Arcadia Falcone as the new Metadata Coordinator. Arcadia, who started February 1, has the challenge of assessing and coordinating descriptive metadata policies and standards for resources deposited in the Stanford Digital Repository (SDR).

Arcadia comes to us from Yale University, where she was the Discovery Metadata Librarian, and previously held graduate student positions working with metadata for digital collections at the Harry Ransom Center at the University of Texas, Austin, and the Bancroft Library at University of California Berkeley.

Arcadia will be a member of the Metadata Department in Lathrop Library, but will often be spotted in DLSS and other parts of the libraries.

Welcome to SUL, Arcadia!!
