Erin's role in the library

I'm a Project Archivist in the Archive of Recorded Sound, which is located in the basement of the Braun Music Center. I am in charge of processing the San Francisco Traditional Jazz Foundation collection, which documents the revival of New Orleans-style jazz that took place in San Francisco beginning in the 1930s. The collection includes equal parts media materials (sound recordings on a variety of formats, film and video) and paper-based materials, such as correspondence, photographs, and printed ephemera. I'll be selecting materials for digitization and creating a finding aid for the collection.
