Stanford’s world-renowned resident ensemble opens its annual Sunday series with a program sure to highlight the quartet’s trademark “gravity, warmth, and textural richness” (The New York Times). Joined by their equally gifted collaborator Stephen Prutsman, SLSQ introduces a late romantic rarity by Ludwig Thuille.
