FDA Commissioners' Fellowship Program
The FDA Commissioner's Fellowship Program is a two-year fellowship that combines course work designed to provide an in-depth understanding of science behind regulatory review with the development of a carefully designed, agency priority, regulatory science project.
Applicants must have a Doctoral level degree (M.D., D.O., D.V.M., D.D.S., D.P.M., Pharm.D., or Ph.D.) to be eligible; however, applicants with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in an engineering discipline will also be considered. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, non-citizen nationals of the U.S., or have been admitted to the U.S. for permanent residence at the time their applications are submitted. Applicants cannot be current FDA employees or FDA contractors. Applicants must have received their doctoral degree (for Engineering applicants, their Bachelor's or Master's) within 7 years of the start date. All degree requirements (including thesis defense) must be complete before applying.

SunShot Postdoctoral Research Awards
U.S. Department of Energy, Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE)
The SunShot Postdoctoral Research Awards support innovative solar research by offering recent Ph.D. recipients the opportunity to conduct applied R&D at universities, national laboratories, and other research facilities. Award highlights include a yearly stipend with two years of support, research and travel allowance, health insurance, and relocation allowance. Application Deadline: April 30, 2014.

Science and Technology Policy Fellowships
U.S. Department of Energy, Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, Geothermal Technologies Office, EERE-ORISE/STP-2014-3
The Department of Energy’s EERE Science and Technology Policy (STP) Fellowships will serve as the next step in the educational and professional development of leaders in energy efficiency and renewable energy, providing an opportunity for scientists and engineers with relevant energy technology experience to participate in research, development, demonstration, (RD&D) and analysis projects at DOE's Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, Geothermal Technologies Office (GTO), in Washington, D.C.
The EERE STP Fellows will apply the expertise gained from advanced degrees and demonstrated history of conducting research, to new and ongoing GTO initiatives. As a result of their participation in the program, Three levels of Fellowships—Fellows, Senior Fellows and Junior Fellows—will allow both recent graduates and experienced scientists and engineers to participate in the EERE STP Fellowships. Fellows will be assigned to provide technical oversight and guidance to energy projects and be mentored by senior EERE staff.
