Instructional Technology built two eBooks: a surgical residency handbook built using the open source EPUB format, and a pediatric anesthesia guidebook built using Apple's iBooks Author.


EdTech's GoHD inintiative aims to the mystery out of the new high definition projection technology. Mini-Grants Archive

The School of Medicine's Educational Technology group awarded mini-grants annually from 2004 through 2012. Mini-grants were awards of typically $1,000-$8,000 that could be used towards development/creation of an educational project designed to enhance learning.


The DisplayWall project explored the use of high-resolution visualization technologies in medical education and research with the development of a 3x3 grid of high resolution (2560x1600) 30" Apple Cinema LCD displays.


Web-SP is an online patient simulation system developed at the Karolinska Institutet and used in universities across the globe. Features include: history taking, physical examination, labs, diagnosis and differentials, therapy, session feedback and integrated online resources. 


Mediaflow is Stanford University School of Medicine's new online administrative application for event information and content management. Mediaflow interfaces with the Li Ka Shing Center of Learning and Knowledge's (LKSC) state-of-the-art system for video capture and distribution. Mediaflow and the LKSC revolutionizes the way classroom and event video is captured and delivered, enabling the flow of information between course administrators, speakers, and students.
