The I-580 express lanes features two lanes in the eastbound direction and one in the westbound direction.

To use the express lanes, drivers must have an active FasTrak account. Carpool drivers can access the lane for free with the FasTrak Flex toll tag and solo drivers can pay the toll with either the old or new tag.

Tolls are based on traffic levels. As traffic increases, the toll increases. As traffic subsides, so does the toll.

The tolls vary based on traffic levels to ensure traffic in the lanes continues to flow smoothly.

New equipment has been installed along I-580 to support the new express lane system.

The top line indicates the toll for the next section of the express lane. The bottom line indicates the toll for the remaining length of the express lane.
