There's something for everyone at the Third Annual Techie Festival, which starts today at Turing Auditorium. The festival features two dozen classes on a wide variety of topics, including photo editing, web searching and social media platforms. It's a great way to use those remaining STAP funds.

The 40th Stanford Jazz Festival and Workshop wrapped up earlier this month. However, the sounds still linger — at least on YouTube. Stanford News Service caught a jam session outside Tresidder Union. This year's festival continued to emphasize world music, particularly Latin jazz.
