Three Stanford scholars named AAAS fellows

Hongjie Dai, professor of chemistry, David Relman, professor of infectious diseases and of microbiology and immunology, and Jon Krosnick, professor of communication and political science, have been named fellows of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.

Committee seeks more input from faculty, staff on ROTC

The Ad Hoc Committee on ROTC, chaired by psychology Professor Ewart Thomas, has read books, conducted interviews and read letters from members of the campus community. Committee members hope to get additional feedback Thursday during a forum on ROTC's place at Stanford.

Two new centers become the hub of the K-12 Initiative

The K-12 Initiative has increased endowed faculty positions, graduate fellowships and programs that allow Stanford to partner with schools and organizations. Moving forward, it will focus on two new centers, including the Center for Educational Policy and Analysis led by Susanna Loeb.

  • Jewish Life at Stanford: The Stanford Historical Society and Hillel at Stanford will present "Jewish Life at Stanford" on Thursday, Jan. 13, at 5:30 p.m. in the Kehillah Hall of the Koret Pavilion at the Ziff Center. The panel discussion will address what Jewish life in all its facets is like today at Stanford.
