Study finds little benefit from electronic health records

A study showed that electronic health records did little to improve the quality of care, even when bolstered by software that gave doctors treatment tips for individual patients. Randall Stafford, associate professor of medicine at Stanford, was senior author of the study.

Converting the world's energy supplies to clean and sustainable sources can be done with today's technology at costs roughly comparable to conventional energy, a new study co-authored by Stanford researcher Mark Z. Jacobson says. But the conversion will be a massive undertaking.
