'Citizen-seismologists' sought for Quake Catcher project

In a typical year, California gets about 30 percent of its water from groundwater wells. Yet when it comes to managing this precious resource, the state of California relies on a mixed bag of more than 2,000 local water agencies with varying degrees of authority.

Men: Don't pay the price for less attention to your health

Currently, 66 percent of BeWell participants who have completed the Stanford Health and Lifestyle Assessment (SHALA) are women, while only 33 percent are men. BeWell has designated July health management month, and aims to bridge this gender gap on campus.
