Packard Hospital receives $25 million investment from HP

Computer giant HP has committed $25 million over 10 years to support the projected expansion of Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital and a cutting-edge research initiative designed to enhance the safety and quality of care for critically ill patients and their families.

Knight Fellowships name 12 U.S. journalists for 2011-12

Twelve U.S. journalists have been awarded John S. Knight Fellowships to study at Stanford during the 2011-12 academic year. They are the third group of Knight Fellows whose selection was guided by the program's new focus on journalism innovation, entrepreneurship and leadership.
