Stanford Hospital & Clinics (SHC) and Blue Shield of California reached a new health insurance provider agreement Thursday. “We’re very pleased that SHC and Blue Shield were able to complete a new agreement in the nick of time,” said Randy Livingston, the university's vice president for business affairs and chief financial officer. |

Student mental health coverage change: Stanford will partner with Managed Health Network Inc., a Health Net company, to administer mental health insurance benefits for Stanford students who enroll in Cardinal Care, effective at the beginning of the 2012-13 academic year.
