Pulitzer Prize-winning historian Jack Rakove thinks the Founding Fathers, who were experimental politicians, might agree that it's time to change the Electoral College as a way to select the president.

New GSB research suggests the actual cost of default

Six of the 10 biggest corporate bankruptcies have occurred since late 2008. That doesn't include companies saved by a bail out. Research by Ilya Strebulaev indicates the real cost of default may be higher than assumed.

  • Cardinal Cogen disruption: On Friday afternoon, an electrical line was damaged during construction, causing the Cardinal Cogeneration Plant to shut down. Chilled water and steam production were affected throughout the weekend. The Central Energy Facility was back in operation Sunday night.
