Online High School students study 'The Problem of Food'

Students who generally meet only in cyberspace spent time on campus conducting chemistry experiments, calculating carbon footprints of various foods – and collaborating on a website titled The Story of a Meal.

Study details power of new chip to diagnose disease

In a collaboration between the Medical School and Intel Corp., researchers have synthesized silicon wafers containing short segments of biological proteins and say the chips could be used simultaneously to diagnose disease and assess therapies.
