Scholars contemplate a third nuclear test in North Korea

Scholars at the Center for International Security and Cooperation believe they have the best calculations for the epicenters of the two nuclear tests North Korea conducted in 2006 and 2009, and conclude that the regime could carry out a third test soon.

Findings show benefits of cochlear implants in babies

Doctors should reconsider the common practice of avoiding the use of cochlear implants in deaf children with developmental delays, according to a new study from the School of Medicine and Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital.

Grants of up to $5,000 are available to faculty and staff with children under age 10 to assist with the cost of eligible child care.
