Stanford has sent acceptance letters to 725 high school students who sought admission to the Class of 2017 under the university's early admission program, the Office of Undergraduate Admission announced Friday.

PG&E continues to strength test or replace areas of Line 109 along Miranda Avenue, Foothill Expressway and Junipero Serra Boulevard. Although PG&E has been unable to replace the entire pipeline in 2012, the utility expects to complete the full project by the end of March.

In the wake of the tragedy at an elementary school in Newtown, Conn., last Friday, the Department of Public Safety wants to remind the campus community that its personnel are available to provide training on how to respond to an active threat. In addition, the department has updated its website to highlight violence prevention and response resources.
