A towering $60,000 bill, a year of flu-like symptoms and a risk of depression are among the possible costs of two new hepatitis C treatments, but researchers led by Jeremy Goldhaber-Fiebert say they might be worth it.

Members of the Department of Athletics, Physical Education and Recreation are mourning the passing of Ron Yamaguchi, an assistant equipment manager, who died on Friday. He joined Stanford in 1989.
