Cardinal Women's basketball to face Baylor in Final Four

In a matchup dubbed "nerd on nerd" by Chiney Ogwumike, left, for the schools' rigorous academic standards, Stanford's scholar athletes extended their winning streak to 32 games Monday night, beating Duke 81 - 69. They face Baylor Sunday.

Campus community mourns the loss of Samantha Wopat

Samantha "Sam" Wopat, a sophomore on the women's volleyball team, died Sunday at Stanford Hospital surrounded by family, friends and teammates. Wopat, 19, was hospitalized March 17, after a medical emergency in her Stanford residence.

New Jersey governor calls long GOP primary 'stupid'

Republican Gov. Chris Christie on Friday said the drawn-out presidential primary fight makes the candidates look stupid and turns the public off. Christie spoke at the Hoover Institution, where he was the featured guest of its Leadership Forum.
