Dividing energy efficiency funds after ballot measure

Now that voters have approved California's Proposition 39, which will increase taxes on some corporations, the real fight lies ahead in the state Legislature: dividing up $2.5 billion intended for energy efficiency projects in government buildings.

Improving breast milk feeding rates for preemies

Researchers at the School of Medicine have helped 11 California hospitals improve their rates of breast milk feeding for premature infants, a strategy that carries implications for helping hospitals adopt underused practices.
