Mental health resources available: An out-of-state man unaffiliated with Stanford attempted suicide early Thursday morning at Quarry Road and Campus Drive West, near the Stanford Hospital, and was the subject of an emergency alert to the campus community. In the wake of this unfortunate incident, Stanford would like to remind campus community members to be attentive to their well-being, and that a range of resources are available for faculty, staff, students and other community members struggling with depression or personal crises. For contact information for these resources, read the full announcement.
