Experts: Balanced approach needed to energy production

Last week, a group of Stanford energy and climate experts said energy policies that wean us off fossil fuels and drive innovation in renewable energy are the best and most environmentally responsible way to meet growing demand.

Canadian leader urges a return to civility in politics

Michael Ignatieff is a history scholar and a former leader of the Canadian Liberal Party. During a recent talk at the Humanities Center, he described a "crisis of representation" emerging from the increasingly divided political culture of both the United States and Canada.
