Law School to collaborate in training Afghan lawyers

Stanford Law School's Afghanistan Legal Education Project has been awarded a $7.2 million U.S. State Department grant to support Stanford and the American University of Afghanistan in developing a double-bachelors law degree program.

During the Sonic Scavenger Hunt, held during New Student Orientation, frosh and transfers used MadPad to collect campus sounds and images, including a book slamming shut amidst the quiet of the Lane Reading Room in Green Library.

In a study of high-ranking government and military officials, Stanford psychologist James Gross and a Harvard team found that a higher rank was associated with less anxiety and lower levels of stress.
