	AMBER Alert The AMBER Alert™ Program is a voluntary partnership between law enforcement agencies, broadcasters, transportation agencies, and the wireless industry, to activate an urgent bulletin in the most serious child abduction cases. The goal of an AMBER Alert is to instantly galvanize the entire community to assist in the search for and the safe recovery of the child.

	Center for Faith Based & Neighborhood Partnerships The Center for Faith Based & Neighborhood Partnerships (FBNP) works to strengthen and expand partnerships with faith and community-based organizations nationwide.

	Defending Childhood The Defending Childhood initiative was launched to address the exposure of America's children to violence as victims and as witnesses.
	Developer Resources To improve access to data and to encourage innovation, OJP has begun to provide Application Programming Interface (API) access to some of OJP’s most sought after data sets.
	Diagnostic Center The Diagnostic Center is an OJP technical assistance resource that emphasizes data-driven diagnosis of public safety and criminal justice issues and customized strategies based on evidence-based solutions. The Diagnostic Center brings together resources and expertise from across OJP and DOJ to meet the needs of state, local, and tribal governments. 	Grants 101 OJP’s Grants 101 provides an overview of the types of funding offered by OJP, as well as a step-by-step description of the grant process and how it works.
	Justice Reinvestment Initiative Justice reinvestment is a data-driven approach to improve public safety, reduce corrections and related criminal justice spending, and reinvest savings in strategies that can decrease crime and strengthen neighborhoods.
	National Criminal Justice Reference Service OJP’s National Criminal Justice Reference Service (NCJRS) offers justice and drug-related information to support research, policy, and program development worldwide.
	National Law Enforcement and Corrections Technology Center (NLECTC) NLECTC assists state, local, tribal and federal law enforcement, corrections and other criminal justice agencies in addressing their technology needs and challenges.
	National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs) NamUs is a national centralized repository and resource center for missing persons and unidentified decedent records. This free online system can be searched by medical examiners, coroners, law enforcement officials and the general public from all over the country in hopes of resolving these cases.
	National Sex Offender Public Website (NSOPW) NSOPW is a public safety resource that provides the public with access to sex offender data nationwide.
	Partnership Resource Network Through the Partnership Resource Network, OJP highlights highly rated, unfunded applications to raise awareness about potential projects and the facilitate partnerships between the projects’ sponsors and organizations to improve coordinator and collaboration, and to reduce duplication of federal and external funding.
	Program Plan This year's Progam Plan reflects OJP's sustained commitment to promoting evidence-based approaches to addressing crime and delinquency, improving justice system operations, and serving crime victims.
	Program Summaries This page contains links to short 1-2 page summaries for 75 OJP current programs. Each summary includes a brief description of program, authorizing legislation, administering agency, who can apply for funding, how funds are distributed, goals, accomplishments, as well as the budget authority and application and award history for the past five fiscal years.
	Reentry Council The Reentry Council represents OJP and other federal agencies working to: make communities safer by reducing recidivism and victimization; assist those who return from prison and jail in becoming productive citizens; and save taxpayer dollars by lowering the direct and collateral costs of incarceration.
	Science Advisory Board The Science Advisory Board was created to serve as a means to bridge the divide between research and practice in criminal justice fields.
	Training and Technical Assistance OJP supports a broad range of training and technical assistance projects, such as information sharing, conferences and workshops, strategic planning, and staff development.
