Joint Replacement/Adult Reconstruction Fellowship

The Adult Reconstructive Fellowship is offered by the Stanford University Hospital and is designed to provide the fellow with a thorough and comprehensive approach to the medical and surgical management of patients with arthritic conditions affecting the hip and knee. The fellow is expected to participate in research approximately 20% of the time. Clinical and laboratory research opportunities are numerous. Conference schedules include a weekly joint replacement conference, a bioengineering meeting, grand rounds, x-ray conference and monthly journal clubs.

This one-year fellowship begins August 1. Three non-ACGME-accredited fellowship positions are available each year.

The Stanford Adult Total Joint Reconstruction Fellowship accepts applications through the Adult Reconstructive Hip and Knee Fellowship SF Match Program.

Applicants must have a current California State Medical License and be board-eligible, with the satisfactory completion of an approved orthopaedic residency training program.  This requires two years of ACGME-accredited training in the United States or Canada and completion of all three parts of the U.S. Medical Licensing Examination.
