The filepathname field is interpreted according to the service or resource type, as described above. In cases where it is interpreted as an actual file or directory (the most common situation, such as for http or ftp service), then the standard Unix syntax is used to show the directories and subdirectories that contain the file, even if the Web server is not a Unix system. That is, the directory and subdirectory (or folder) names that must be traversed to reach the file are separated in the path name by the slash (/) character.
