Pursue a Stanford University master of science degree on a part-time basis through the Honors Cooperative Program (HCP). As an HCP student, you will be a fully matriculated graduate student of Stanford University.

  • Before you enroll in online courses toward a degree program, you must complete Stanford’s graduate admissions process. This includes having taken the Graduate Record Exam (GRE) within the past 5 years, submitting a Statement of Purpose, and securing letters of recommendation.
  • Application Deadlines - Several departments accept applications only once a year, others have rolling admissions for master's degree applicants. Please familiarize yourself with the appropriate application deadline.
  • Upon admittance to the master’s degree program, you will be notified to file your study plan in Axess, Stanford's web-based system. This is where you will also add, drop, and evaluate classes; update addresses; view your grades; request official transcripts; and review degree requirements status.
  • If you do not have one already, create a mystanfordconnection account so that you can pay your tuition, access your courses, and view your account status.
