Reduce Waste. SAVE TIME. HELP LOCAL COMMUNITY.
R&DE Student Housing makes it easy for students to leave Stanford in the best way possible: sustainably. Thank you to all the students who pledged to help keep useful items out of the landfill during Give and Go 2015. Through R&DE's partnership with local organizations, it is easy for students to "Give" their unwanted clothing, bikes, electronic equipment, and household items in good condition to others who can use them before they move out of housing to "Go" on to their next adventure! The items students place in barrels or trailers located throughout residences serve hundreds of local people in need, all while reducing the amount of waste Stanford sends to landfill.
Give, Go & Win a Prize!
Each year, Office of Sustainability partners with R&DE Student Housing to offer raffle prizes for participants. During the campaign, there are two opportunities to win:
- Pledge to "Give & Go" online
- Pledge to "Give & Go" in-person at the waste corrals
Everyone who pledges their commitment to Give before they Go will be entered to win one of several $50 Amazon gift cards. Raffle winners will be announced soon!
