I carpool and take transit.

My friends think I am crazy but I commute from Tracy five days per week. Planes, trains and automobiles! Well, I take the ACE train, BART, AC Transit- the Line U bus, and I use a three-person carpool.

I have come to enjoy the companionship of old friends I commute with, Stanford employees on the Line U bus and the occasional nap I can grab on the bus. The wireless connection on the Line U bus is great for checking email and using handheld devices.

I could not work at Stanford without some creative planning around commuting! I enjoy being able to get to work a variety of ways. It makes life exciting and fills my days with adventure.

I truly appreciate the resources Stanford has provided myself and my colleagues in getting to work in a way that leaves us more rested and happy! The Commute Club is awesome!

Do you know these Stanford commuters? They also have a story to tell!
