I bike.

Last December, my wife and I had a baby girl. With this blessing, we knew that we would have to relook at our budget while she's out of the work force and I'm attending school at Stanford. It made financial sense to save money on gas, car insurance, and maintenance for me to bike the 16-mile round trip to campus. Plus, it's nearly a $600 net gain to avoid the parking fee, and I receive incentives from being in the Commute Club. I even have an app on my phone that tracks my distance and time so I can race myself each day and track my workout (I mean commute).

Do you know these Stanford commuters? They also have a story to tell!
