I walk.

I really enjoy that Stanford encourages its staff and faculty (and students, I think!) to commute without a car to campus. I bike to work every day except on the days I want coffee. On those days, I make sure I have an extra 20 or so minutes in the schedule and walk to work with my coffee in hand.

Actually, in December I was studying for the GRE test and the walk to work turned into a perfect study session. Every day, I had 25 minutes to memorize vocab on the way to work and 25 minutes on the way home. In the end, I did AWESOME on the verbal section! I guess those extra 50 minutes of studying while "commuting" every day paid off.

Do you know these Stanford commuters? They also have a story to tell!
