What we do
IT Services’ main offices are in Jordan Quad, with facilities and contract support staff distributed all over campus. We manage the university's network and communications infrastructure and deliver services that support research, learning, teaching, and advanced patient care, including:
- account services and network registration systems;
- email, calendar, and cloud collaboration tools;
- phones, operator services, and medical paging systems;
- research computing solutions, servers, and storage;
- web hosting and development services.
To learn about any these and many more of our services, browse or search the catalog. All are supported by a front-line help desk, contract-support consultants, self-help resources, and training.

Ask us first
Contact us online (helpsu.stanford.edu) or by phone (650-725-4357) and we will do our best to connect you to the person or team best equipped to answer your question or provide the assistance you need. We have many partner organizations across the institution; you can contact these offices directly or explore their websites to learn what they have to offer:
Administrative Systems
Stanford's other central resource for IT, AS runs the systems that run the business of the university, plus many other useful, centrally-hosted applications and services.
Academic Computing
An integral part of the Stanford University Libraries, the Academic Computing organization is the place to start if you’re looking for learning and research computing solutions or for support in student residences.
Your School or Department IT Support Group
Each of Stanford's seven schools and many of its auxiliaries and centers have a team that supports IT locally. If you don't know who or where they are, ask a colleague or your department administrator — or ask us. Your local IT folks will be happy to talk with you about your question or request. Together, you can determine whether a school-specific solution may be better for you than one available from IT Services.
Reporting web accessibility issues
Stanford University is committed to providing an online environment that is accessible to everyone, including individuals with disabilities. If you cannot access content or use features on any of our websites due to a disability, please contact us via HelpSU.
