University IT mobile device recycling program
University IT has partnered with an outside vendor to securely wipe and recycle unwanted cell phones, tablets, and data cards. All personal and corporate information will be removed, even if the mobile device is broken or the screen is cracked. Once a phone is dropped off or mailed in for recycling, it cannot be returned.
Drop off
Drop off your device during normal business hours at the Mobile Device Program office at 215 Panama St. (Oak Building).

Put your device in an interdepartmental envelope mail and send it to us via ID mail, Mail Code 4144.
Erase
For added security and privacy, you can erase your device yourself before it's recycled.
