Do I need a permit to remove a tree on my property?
Any tree with a trunk that measures greater than 40 inches in circumference, measured 2 feet above the natural grade, requires a Tree Removal Permit to remove. The city may require that you submit an arborist report to supplement your Tree Removal Permit application.
