PRINCETON, N.J. – USRowing named Elle Logan ’11 and Grace Luczak ’11 to its World Championships roster on Thursday.
Logan will race in a pair along with Felice Mueller. Logan will appear in her sixth World Championships. Her resume includes three gold medals, one silver and one 5th place finish. Last year in Amsterdam she led the U.S. eight to a gold medal.
Luczak is expected to race in the four. She was also a member of last year’s gold-medal winning eight in Amsterdam. The 2015 World Championships will be the fourth for Luczak, who took gold the last two years and bronze with the four in 2010.
Team USA will send 27 crews comprised of 87 athletes to the Lake Aiguebelette, France. The World Championships will run August 29 – Sept. 6.
Selections for the U.S. roster were made based off performances from World Rowing Cup competition and Senior World Championship trials.
