STANFORD, Calif. – Elizabeth Price was named the Pac-12 Gymnast of the Week for the second consecutive week, as announced Tuesday by the conference.

Price won the all-around for the second straight week, posting top-four finishes in three-of-four individual events to help lead Stanford to a comeback upset victory at No. 15 Georgia. She scored Stanford’s highest score in three-of-four events, including vault (9.875), bars (9.900) and floor (9.875).

Price’s performance on bars was crucial because the gymnast before her fell and it helped Stanford salvage a strong start to the meet. She was the only Stanford gymnast to score above 9.750 on floor and provided a much-needed big score in the event to keep pace with Georgia.

Price has scored 9.850 or higher in seven-of-eight performances this season.

It is the second Pac-12 Gymnast of the Week honor of Price’s career. She was named the 2015 Pac-12 Specialist of the Year and won the 2015 NCAA title on vault.

Price and Stanford will look to continue its momentum in its home opener on Sunday at 2 p.m. (PT) against No. 23 California and San Jose State.
