FEDERAL WAY, Wash. - Stanford’s 200-yard medley relay and 800-yard freestyle relay teams swam NCAA A-cut times on Wednesday night at the Pac-12 Conference Championships.

Ryan Dudzinski, Matt Anderson, Andrew Liang and Sam Perry (1:25.10) took fourth place in the 200 medley relay, while Gray Umbach, Maxwell Williamson, Sean Duggan and Liam Egan (6:18.16) finished third in the 800 free relay in the second and final event of the night.

“Our 800 free relay team was void of any return swimmers from last year. It was really fun to see Gray and Sean as seniors lead Max and Liam in a great team effort, and our young 200 medley relay team of two freshman and two sophomores was faster than last year’s team,” said Goldman Family Director of Men’s Swimming Ted Knapp. “I’m also really proud of Jimmy Yoder and Gray Umbach for swimming times that will get them invited to the NCAA championships.”

Umbach (1:33.94) led off the 800 free relay with an NCAA A-cut, while Jimmy Yoder (1:42.41) swam an A-cut in a 200-yard butterfly time trial.

The Cardinal (62 points) sits in fourth place behind California (72), Arizona (70) and USC (68).

The meet continues Thursday at the King County Aquatic Center with the 500-yard freestyle, 200-yard individual medley and 50-yard freestyle prelims at 11 a.m. (PT). The finals begin at 6 p.m. and will also include the 200-yard freestyle relay. Live results will be available at GoStanford.com.
