STANFORD, Calif. - Stanford men’s crew will open the 2016 spring season this Saturday when the Cardinal travels north to face Oregon State and Gonzaga at Dexter Reservoir near Eugene, Ore.
Stanford will field a varsity eight, second varsity eight and third varsity eight in Saturday’s regatta. The varsity eight will be racing for the ‘Mack Babitt Sr. Working Life’ trophy.
Saturday’s regatta is slated to begin at 9:30 a.m. at Dexter Reservoir with the second varsity eight race. The varsity eight race will begin at 9:45 a.m. and the third varsity eight will conclude the racing at 10 a.m.
Stanford and Oregon State both qualified for the 2015 IRA National Championship regatta.
