STANFORD, Calif. - Fifth-year senior captain Garrett Schaner will join other Pac-12 conference wrestlers as featured guests on USA Wrestling’s College Wrestling Google+ Hangout On Air series this Wednesday, Feb. 25, at 1 p.m. PT/4 p.m. ET.
Five wrestlers from five different Pac-12 programs will be joining the guest panel for this event in anticipation of the 2015 Pac-12 Wrestling Championships in Corvallis, Ore., on March 1.
Joining Schaner on the Pac-12 wrestling guest panel are Geordan Martinez of Boise State, Dominic Kastl of Cal Poly, Ian Nickell of CSU Bakersfield and Blake Stauffer of Arizona State.
Schaner has made the transition down a weight class from 157 pounds to 149 pounds for the 2014-15 season. He has an overall record of 18-14 on the year and earned a fifth place finish at the Reno Tournament of Champions.
