STANFORD, Calif. – Fresh off its sixth College Cup appearance in seven years, the Stanford women’s soccer team has set its spring match schedule.

The five-match spring campaign begins April 3 against San Francisco, and includes two other home matches, against Santa Clara and the semipro California Storm.

The Santa Clara match, set for May 1, resumes a series that not only is played annually in the fall, but in the spring as well.

Through the years, Santa Clara is Stanford’s most frequent opponent. Stanford trails in the all-time fall series, 18-17-5, but the Cardinal has won their past 10 meetings, including a 3-0 victory at Stanford last year.

This spring, Stanford also meets Pac-12 rival UCLA, in San Luis Obispo on April 19. Stanford and UCLA have Stanford and UCLA have combined to win at least a share of the past 14 Pac-12 titles and 20 of 21 since the conference first sponsored women’s soccer.

Stanford went 20-2-3 last season and completed the year with a No. 3 ranking. Stanford returns seven starters, including goalkeeper Jane Campbell, who helped the Cardinal record 17 shutouts – the second-most in school history -- and consensus national freshman of the year Andi Sullivan, in the midfield.

Campbell, Sullivan, and graduating All-America Lo’eau LaBonta just returned from La Manga, Spain, where they helped the U.S. Under-23 team to three shutout victories in as many matches – over England, Norway, and Japan.

The following is Stanford’s 2015 spring schedule:
