Protecting the Trust Funds

For Fiscal Year 2020, OIG auditors recommended that $23,522,728 be returned to the OPM trust funds, and OIG investigations resulted in the recovery of $16,331,387.

Inspector General Protecting the Public

The OIG’s work in Fiscal Year 2020 resulted in 49 arrests, 47 indictments, and 37 convictions, as well as the issuance of 776 administrative sanctions against health care providers to prevent them from participating in the FEHB Program.
